Before we get into this Friday's JEWELS show, here's a video interview with Belgian fighter Cindy Dandois. I expect her to be in the 145lb women's division at Strikeforce in 2010. For one thing, there are very few fighters in that weight class. And she works for M-1 Global and they have a working agreement with Strikeforce. Her one fight was a unanimous decision win over Marloes Coenen on the Jan. 24 Beast Of The East show in Zutphen, Holland. It's a very strange fight and you can watch it on Youtube. I'm sure Marloes is very annoyed with herself for losing and wants another shot at her. In the interview, Cindy doesn't make a big deal of that fight. She is wise not to brag about it too much. There were rumours that she might fight before the end of this year. But we will see her in Strikeforce in 2010. Enjoy the video.
Cindy seems like a nice person, wish her well, the division could use more fighters, but I sure hope Women in general get more chances.
