Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.

LLPW goes comedy route
You might be asking what it takes these days to get any media coverage for a joshi fed. 962 fans turned up at LLPW's Nov. 24 show at Tokyo Budokan to find out. A comedian named Nishiguchi provided most of the entertainment on the show. The wrestling was besides the point. The opener had The Bloody over Hiroyo Muto in 7:58. Then Eiger & Sayuri Okino defeated Harley Saito & Obacchi Iizuka in 11:28. Next came the comedians. Nishiguchi and Toshino are regulars on the Nippon Television Network. They basically had a comedy wrestling match with Nishiguchi as Little Antonio Inoki and Toshino as a girl wrestler. Who won? I dunno. I suppose the audience did if they thought it was funny. I'm not sure it did much for the joshi business or LLPW. The main event also featured the comedians. Dump Matsumoto, ZAP-T & The Scorpion (Nishiguchi) defeated Takako Inoue, Noriyo Tateno & Toshino in 13:28 on a fast three count by everyone's favourite heel ref Shiro Abe. Maybe LLPW should bring back their transvestite wrestlers and put them in a match with the comedians. Well, maybe not.
