Here's the match video of Cortney Casey vs Mara Romero Borella from last night's UFC show in Jacksonville. Cortney has fought for the UFC at Strawweight for a few years. She trains at MMA Lab in Phoenix. She's a midcard fighter. This is her first fight at Flyweight. Mara is from Italy but she trains at American Top Team in Florida. She came to the UFC as a late replacement in 2017. Typically I don't think she belongs in the UFC. She gets on top of Cortney. But she needs to pay attention as Cortney is going for her arm. After a couple of adjustments, Cortney gets the armbar and that's it. Cortney got a bonus for that. And Mara should get a one way trip to Palookaville. Obviously I would like to see Cortney face better competition. Enjoy the video!
