Emily Thompson to face Erin Toughill on May 16 PFC show

Multiple sources report that Palace Fighting Championships has found an opponent for Erin Toughill for their May 8 show at the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino in Lemoore, CA. The opponent is Alaskan Emily Thompson. Hopefully this goes better than Erin's last fight. She won but her original opponent dropped out due to injury and Wisconsin native Karen Williams was brought in at the last minute. Erin is looking for a competitive fight and that's not what she got. This happens sometimes in the fight business. Erin's record is 9-2-1. Emily Thompson is 3-0. She started out in 2005 with Alaska Fighting Championships. She moved to California and now works for Nor Cal Fighting Alliance. Her teammate Kyle Pimental will challenge for the PFC Welterweight Title on the same show. Emily's most recent win was over Breanne Vickers at the Apr. 3 Fighting Femmes Fatales show in Los Angeles. She signed a contract with the American Fight League but we all know what happened to those guys. Emily has won all three of her fights with strikes so she obviously likes to be aggressive. Hopefully it's an exciting fight. It's a good opportunity for Emily Thompson.
