Things are back to normal at NEO's June 30 show

NEO ran their regular Itabashi Green Hall show on June 30. They are just now getting back to their usual storylines after the Hokkaido tour. They didn't run any angles out of town. So they're expecting fans to remember angles from over a month ago. That's a long time in the wrestling business. Of course I remember the angles. I'm supposed to remember them so you don't have to. Etsuko Mita made her first appearance since her car accident a few weeks ago. It was announced that Manami Toyota would be Mita's partner at Mita's 20th anniversary show on July 16. Opponents are to be announced.

The opener was Yuki Miyazaki vs rookie Asuka Ohki. Changing her name doesn't make her a winner. Miyazaki starts with an arm attack. Ohki counters with a sleeper and dropkicks. Mi9yazaki hits a couple of missile dropkicks and follows it with a brainbuster for the win at 9:04. Next is Ray from Ibuki against rookie Nagisa Nozaki. Ray likes to fly and wins with a moonsault press at 8:20. Next was Toshie Uematsu vs Ice Ribbon's Aoi Kizuki. Kizuki starts out quickly with a jumping lariat and a running elbow. But Uematsu takes control and wins easily at 9:08.

About a month ago, NEO was doing a comedy angle with Tanny Mouse wrestling "Chinese" wrestlers, mainly Chon-Shiryu. So they teamed them up this time against Ran YuYu & Aya Yuki. Tanny won the match over Yuki with a diving Tanny butt at 12:42. The match was just a way to get to post match yakking. Chon-Shiryu talked about All China Womans Professional Wrestling and wants to get a partner and have another match with the NEO Machine Gunz at the next Korakuen Hall show. Tanny said OK. Next was Misae Genki vs Ibuki's Hiroyo Matsumoto. Not surprisingly, Matsumoto has trouble getting that Argentinian backbreaker on Genki. Maybe she needs to try something else. Genki wins with a lariat at 12:36.

Next up is NEO Singles & NWA Pacific Champ Yoshiko Tamura against Atsuko Emoto. Emoto gets some offense in but Tamura wins with a running elbow at 15:05. You may recall that Tamura defended her titles a few weeks ago against Sakura Emi. The two have been emailing each other recently about possibly teaming up. Tamura asked NEO GM Koda about this. The short version is Tamura will team up with Sakura Emi soon. The main event is Haruka Matsuo vs Ayumi Kurihara. It's an energetic match. I don't know if it should be a main event. Kurihara hits a neck breaker drop followed by a back throw. Matsuo hits a frog splash, a high kick and a dragon suplex for the win at 10:35. Matsuo has been teaming with Tamura lately so afterwards she wondered about that. I suspect she will be one of the opponents in that match.
