Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.

Oh no! Another new joshi company!
As bad as the pro wrestling business is in Japan and as bad as the joshi business has been over the last decade, There seem to be more companies popping up this year than ever. We don't need more companies. We need fewer companies. But this one is owned by a familiar name and appears to be an offshoot of Kyoko Inoue's new company Woman Pro Wrestling Diana. It appears that Diana is having financial problems. Last week they announced they are moving from World Arena to a different location in September. Before that, they announced a Sept. 4 show at Shin-kiba 1st Ring. That date will be the debut of Happy Hour!! The company will be owned by retired AJW and Pro Wrestling SUN wrestler Hikaru. You may recall that Hikaru retired in Apr. 2009 and married Koji Kanemoto of New Japan. She says in the press release that she has no plans to come out of retirement but she wants to give back to the joshi business. Maybe she's bored. She has sponsorship from AIB Bank and it appears that ZERO-1 parent company First On Stage is assisting her as well. The wrestlers on the debut will be from Diana's roster. Also appearing is Aja Kong, Andrea Mother who is the wrestler who was Rosie Lottalove in TNA. She has been working for Diana lately. Also appearing is Canadian wrestler Jamie D. Jamie worked for Pro Wrestling SUN a few years ago and knows Hikaru from those days. It does not say how frequently Happy Hour!! will run shows. Hopefully they will take over some of Diana's dates like they are doing here. That should give Diana some financial relief. Maybe they'll merge. That would be good.
