Here's the fight video of Alexia Thainara vs Rose Conceicao from last night's Dana White Contender Series in Las Vegas. This fight is at Strawweight. Alexia is 26 years old. She trains with UFC fighter Amanda Ribas and her father Marcelo Ribas in Minas Gerais, Brazil. Her MMA record is 11-1. In her last fight, she won the SFT Strawweight Championship. Rose is 27 years old. She trains with Bellator's Pitbull Brothers in Natal, Brazil. Her MMA record is 7-1. In her last fight, she won the LFA Strawweight Championship. So both are supposed to be decent fighters. But Alexia was a lot quicker, scored a couple of takedowns and was a lot quicker on her feet too. I thought Alexia won the fight 30-27 and so did all three judges. She got that UFC contract. The only thing is I would have liked to see a finish. But we'll see how Alexia does. Enjoy the video!
