Here's the fight video of Molly McCann vs Diana Belbita from last night's UFC show in Las Vegas. This fight is at Strawweight. Molly is 33 years old from Liverpool, England. She trains at Next Generation MMA. Paddy Pimblett is one of her teammates. Molly is 6-5 in the UFC. This is her first fight at Strawweight. Her previous fights were at Flyweight. Diana is 27 years old from Romania but she trains at House of Champions in Stoney Creek, ON which is near Hamilton. She's 2-4 in the UFC. This week she talked about retirement. But she took this fight because she beat Molly in 2019. I don't think either of them are very good but Diana is probably worse. And that proved to be true in this fight as Molly won with an armbar with one second remaining in round one. Molly got a $50,000 bonus for that. I'm sure we will see Molly when the UFC returns to England later this year. But she has to show me that she can beat a ranked fighter. She has yet to do that. I guess Diana will retire now.
