Here's the match video of Karine Silva vs Poliana Botelho from yesterday's UFC show in Las Vegas. This fight is at Flyweight. Karine is 28 years old from Curitiba, Brazil. She trains with Gile Ribeiro. She likes to finish fights which is why her nickname is Killer. She appeared on DWCS but I thought Poliana would give us a better handle on who she is. Poliana is an OK fighter but she's 3-3 in the UFC. She's not setting the world on fire. The fight didn't last long. After Karine tried for a guillotine, she turned it into a D'Arce choke and that was it. You don't see D'Arce chokes every day and that was slickly executed by Karine. That was a hell of a choke she put on her opponent. We may want to keep an eye on Karine Silva Frank. She really fought very well in the cage that night. David
