Here's the match video of Gina Mazany vs Wu Yanan from today's UFC show in Shanghai. Gina lost her UFC debut to Sara McMann. It was a short notice fight. Gina trains with her brother at Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas. He is an EFC champ. Both of them do pro wrestling too. Yanan is 21 years old Chinese fighter with an 8-1 record mostly against local fighters. This is a big step up in competition for her and it showed. Gina won all three rounds fairly easily. She was more aggressive and more effective. Gina said afterwards that she broke her foot during training. It didn't seem to bother her. Yanan has a bad habit of grabbing the fence. Ref Marc Goddard warned her several times and finally got a translator to explain it to her. She also injured her shoulder at the end of round two and she fought round three with one arm. It's a big win for Gina. We'll see how she does against better fighters. Enjoy the video!
