Here's the match video of Sarah Moras vs Ashlee Evans-Smith from last night's UFC show in Edmonton. Sarah is from Kelowna, BC. She was on TUF 18. The last time we saw her was in 2015. She's had some injuries along with money problems. She was forced to return to her job at Canada Post and she ran a Go Fund Me to pay for her training camp. I've always liked her going back to her Invicta days. She needs a win. Ashlee is a collegiate wrestler from California. She just hasn't been impressive in the UFC. Ashlee takes Sarah down and gets side control. But Sarah is able to get back to full guard. And then she starts working on an armbar from the bottom. She gets too close to the fence. But her trainer David Lea tells her to use her legs to push away from the fence. Once she does that, she turns Ashlee over and secures the armbar. It's all over. That's a big win for Sarah Moras. I was hoping she would get a bonus because she could use the money. She said afterwards that she would like to fight in Winnipeg in December. Get on it, Sean Shelby. Enjoy the video!
