Here's a band to watch. The Hunna released their debut CD in 2016 and they got very positive buzz for their live shows. The Hunna are from Hertfordshire, England. They were formed in 2015. Lead singer Ryan Potter and lead guitarist Dan Dorney met in college. Dorney was already friends with bassist Jermaine Angin. Drummer Jack Metcalfe was added and The Hunna was born. Apparently Hunna is a slang word they use to each other. They signed with High Time Records and they released a couple of singles. Performances at Reading Festival, Leeds Festival and Dot-To-Dot Festival got them a US record deal with the Atlantic label 300 Entertainment. Their debut CD 100 was released Aug. 2016. It was produced by Lana Del Rey producer Tim Larcombe. The album did well and You & Me got some airplay on Alternative Radio. The Hunna have been on tour ever since. They toured with Jimmy Eat World and they were on Live Nation's Advanced Placement tour. The Hunna have been compared favourably to Kings of Leon and Foals. They are worth checking out.
