Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.

Jessica Andrade steps in for injured Liz Carmouche at Sept. 5 UFC show
UFC officials announced today that Jessica Andrade has stepped in for an injured Liz Carmouche and will face Raquel Pennington at UFC 191 Sept. 5 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Raquel's original opponent was supposed to be Leslie Smith. But she got hurt before the fight was even announced and was replaced by Liz. This is a quick turnaround for Jessica as she beat Sarah Moras last month in San Diego. Several fans have asked me that if (fill in the blank) is willing to fight on short notice and has been sitting around, why would Jessica get this fight on a short turnaround. It takes two to tango and given a choice, I can understand why Raquel would want another shot at Jessica as Jessica won their first fight by split decision in Mar. 2014. I thought Jessica should have won by unanimous decision. She won the first two rounds and ran out of gas in the third. Raquel's corner gave her terrible advice and told her between rounds the fight was closer than it was. Raquel just didn't do enough to win that fight and the judges scored it closer than it was. This fight will air on the Fox Sports 1 prelims.
