Welcome to Frank Pozen's Big Bad Blog. A lot of folks have been asking me to update them about my recovery. So I thought I would start a blog primarily to do that but also to talk about other topics of interest including the wrestling business and whatever else I can think of. I plan to update this on a regular basis so check back and leave a comment if you wish.

Jessica Andrade vs Angela Hill added to Feb. 4 UFC show
The UFC announced today that Jessica Andrade vs Angela Hill has been added to UFC Fight Night 104 Feb. 4 at the Toyota Center in Houston. This will air on Fox Sports 1 in the US and TSN in Canada. This fight was supposed to happen at UFC 206 but Angela was not in the USADA testing program for four months. The UFC has granted an exemption and there are plans to change the rules to accommodate returning fighters. Angela is currently the Invicta Strawweight Champion. She went 4-0 in Invicta. So the thinking is she has improved since the UFC released her. I'm not convinced that the competition level of her Invicta opponents was high enough. And Jessica has been a beast since moving to Strawweight. The UFC has already offered her a title shot. But her manager Tiago Okamura wanted another fight first to pay for a full camp. Of course the interesting thing is Jessica used to train with UFC Strawweight Champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Okamura managed both of them. Unlike most female fighters, Jessica is a powerful striker and she has ground skills as well with a fondness for the guillotine choke. Angela is mainly a kickboxer with no ground skills. It's a tough fight for her UFC return. The winner should get a title shot.
