Here's the match video of Bayley defending the NXT Women's Championship against Asuka from last night's NXT show in Dallas. I am posting this for those who don't have the WWE Network. The match went as I thought it would. With Bayley going to the main roster, she had to drop the belt. The story of the match was that every time Bayley got the upper hand, Asuka would pull a submission out of nowhere and get her momentum back. Bayley seemed very frustrated by this. The turning point of the match was when Bayley got an ankle lock on Asuka. Then she worked on Asuka's knees. Just when things were going Bayley's way, Asuka hit a flying armbar. That was the beginning of the end. Asuka went after the Asuka Lock. Bayley came close to fighting it off. And she didn't tap out. But Asuka put her to sleep and she is the new NXT Women's Champion. Of course the finish sets up a "Bayley never tapped out" rematch. And they even set up a possible heel turn of Asuka. I thought they had a great match. But as Bayley admitted in a post match interview, Asuka is at a higher level. Enjoy the video!
