Here's the fight video of Iasmin Lucindo vs Marina Rodriguez from last night's UFC show in Salt Lake City. This fight is at Strawweight. Iasmin is 22 years old from Fortaleza, Brazil. She trains at Academia Fight House. Virna Jandiroba is a teammate. She's 3-1 in the UFC. She has looked pretty good so far. But Marina is a ranked opponent. She's 37 years old. She trains with Marcio Malko at Thai Brasil in Florianopolis, Brazil. All the fighters from that gym are kickboxers. Marina is 7-4-2 in the UFC. She has had opportunities to get to the title. But her limitations have hurt her. I thought it was a close fight. But I though Marina won round one and Iasmin won the other two rounds. So I scored it 29-28 for Iasmin. The judges gave it to Iasmin by split decision. But I think it was a close fight and judges don't have to agree. I expect Iasmin to be ranked. Enjoy the video!
