Here's the match video from last night's TNA PPV with Gail Kim defending the TNA Knockouts Championship against Miss Tessmacher or as they are apparently going to call her, Tess. Well, they're not going to call her Brooke with Brooke Hogan around. Tess won the title shot in a four way match on Thursday's Impact. So I know what you're thinking. Didn't they do this match on last month's PPV? Why are they doing it again? The show was in Texas and Tess is from Texas. So obviously they figure she will get a home town pop. I still think she's too green to be on a PPV and last night's match hasn't changed my opinion. The match started out OK and Gail was doing the heavy lifting. It appears Tess may have had her shoulder hurt legit by a shoulder breaker and she seemed limited after that. So her comeback seemed a little weak. Tess unsuccessfully tried her modified bulldog finisher a couple of times. And then the gimmick was that Gail wanted to use Tess' finisher to beat her. So when Gail tried that, Tess rolled her up for the win. There are times when that kind of finish can be done but not on a PPV. It's lame. I don't mind the title change too much because Gail can be a stronger heel in pursuit of the belt. Maybe being more vicious will get Orlando fans to boo her. And I wouldn't mind if Tess' tag team partner Tara turned on her and teamed up with Gail. The angle hasn't been strong enough for me. TNA is compensating for the greenhorn. Fans won't buy it in the long run. Enjoy the video!
